Here's the Big News: Miss Zoe has..... a house guest!!
Like Miss Zoe, this guest is a Rabbit. So far, She seems a little less Bossy than Miss Zoe (wait, did I say bossy? I think I meant something else...hmmmm......well, never mind).
Let me introduce to you...Zoe's new friend, Miss Blueberry!!
Blueberry belongs to a (human) friend who recently had a house fire. Blueberry needed a place to crash for a couple of days or weeks, and Miss Zoe, gracious hostess that She is, was happy to answer the call. So far, the Girls are getting along very well.
Zoe did not really feel like posing much with Blueberry. At least not right now. I think She wants Blueberry to get a bit of the Spotlight.Miss Lilly, on the other hand, is happy to pose with her new friend:

As you can see, Miss Lilly enjoys having someone else in the house who looks like her. She thinks that is pretty darn cool.For those of you who aren't that familiar with Rabbits, Blueberry is a Dutch Rabbit. Zoe, though She came to us via the German Festival, is not Dutch, but a Mini Rex. They are pretty similarly sized, though Blueberry is a little bit larger. Also, their fur is a bit different to the touch.
As for me, it's like a dream come true. More Rabbits? Come on! Isn't that a dream come true?
Here I am petting the Girls.On Friday, Miss Zoe will share the Spotlight once again in A Tale (or Tail) of Two Rabbits, Her newest film, starring (of course) Herself, and Her new friend Miss Blueberry. I'm pretty sure that you are already looking forward to that, aren't you?

(Miss Blueberry is quite the cutie, and I'm sure it is a treat for LillyCat to have a "furalike" around! Miss Zoe's magnanimity to her guest is completely unsurprising, of course.)
Yay! It's about time Zoe got some reinforcements! I don't know how she puts up with all of those cats!

I had a Dutch Belted rabbit once too. They are lovely rabbits. I bet Miss Zoe and Miss Blueberry have pajama parties, snacks and fun together, all giggly and staying up late despite being told to GO TO SLEEP!

Miss Blueberry is very pretty, although of course, it's not a competition. And Miss Zoe and Miss Blueberry are really completely beautiful in their own ways. They are both winners, right?
But how gracious of Miss Zoe to share her home for a bit. And good on sweet Lily for snuggling up. :)

We have been thinking about getting a house rabbit (there are several at the shelter near us) but I'm worried about how the cats will take to them. Yours all seem to get on together though!
