(Not a) Flip Friday
Last night, our Beloved Rosie the Cat packed up and moved to Sparkle Pond.
We are excited for her in her travels. We know she has already met up with Jobie, who was her best friend for so many years, and who she has been missing for the past couple of years since he went to Sparkle Pond.
She's also met up with Ernie cat, but as she wasn't that fond of him here in the Lilypad, chances are, that reunion will just be more of a head nod and an "Oh, it's you."
We both had a feeling about Rosie yesterday. For days, she seemed to be doing so much better, and then suddenly, her breathing was difficult and she just seemed different, like something had shifted.
She died very peacefully, though, tucked up in her favorite blanket hideaway upstairs. We were there with her, petting her and talking to her. It was perfect. She just slipped away.
We should all be that lucky.

"We should all be thatlucky" - definitely.
Rest in Peace, lovely Rosie.
What a beautiful end for a beautiful girl.
You're so right, she was lucky in life to find so much love and lucky in passing surrounded by love as well.
Holding you and the other survivors in my thoughts with love.
hugs to you and Christine. As I posted to her, it is a blessing to be able to be there with a beloved pet when it passes.
Love to you and Christine, and to all of your furry companions at the Lilypad. Rest well, dear Rosie.
She was surrounded by love. What could be better than that? RIP Rosie. Enjoy Sparkle Pond.
What a wonderful send off. I am so sorry for your loss. RIP Rosie.
I'm in tears. She was lucky to be with you & it sounds like a good passing for you.
RIP Rosie love. Enjoy the beyond.
how beautifully said. and yes, we should all be that lucky is perfect. hugs
She had been on my mind ever since you both said she wasnt so well and she never left her little corner of my mind until I knew she was in her sparkle suit. Much love to you both and copious amounts for Rosie.

Awww...so sorry! I recently lost my Kayto cat -- the coolest cat ever, I swear. I went out for a run one day, let him outside (he loved to be outdoors), came back to find he has passed away.
I was sad, but...honestly, it's the best way I've ever lost a pet...no wondering whether to put them down, when to put them down, etc., etc. I couldn't help but think...he was even the coolest cat in the way he died!
While I have two new kitties to keep my company, I do miss my old Gray guy.
Rest in peace, Rosie!
