Flip Friday!

Can you believe it is time for movies again?

Every week, it's the same story with me. I can't believe it is already Friday and already time for MORE MOVIES!!

This week, we have a Triple Feature for you. There has been so much going on that Zoe and I just couldn't decide what movie we wanted to feature. So, we're just going to give you all three!

The first is a Cat Movie. Zoe wasn't thrilled to produce and post a Cat Movie, but the Cats do a lot of Cute Stuff that the world doesn't get to see because a Certain Rabbit usually likes to disallow the Cat Movies.

In this movie, you will see the Mini-Cat, Toby playing in his favorite new toy, Shoebox. Along comes Miss Lilly to join in the fun:

This second movie was taken at Presque Isle State Park, just a couple of miles from the Lilypad. You've seen movies of the Isle in the Summer, so here it is in the Winter! (It's the same only snowier!!)

Frozen Beach from marcy hall on Vimeo.

The third movie goes without saying (it's a Rabbit Movie). Well, you can't have Two Adorable Bunnies on your house and not be making constant videos of them. The chick said to me the other day, "Maybe you should install a Rabbit Cam in the Rabbit Room to record all the Rabbit Excitement."

What do you think? Should we get a Rabbit Cam?

In the meantime, here's today's last feature starring Zoe and Blueberry:

If you enjoyed the music on that video, you can visit Jason Paker's site and find out all about him, including how to buy some music!

Happy Weekend!! And, Beware the Ides of March! (or something like that)

OK. What just happened?

Was it just the weekend?

Wait!

Do you mean that it's already Monday?

I even had a 3 day weekend. So, what on earth happened?

Was I secretly abducted and taken off to a faraway planet and then returned having been given some kind of mind erasing food or drink or pill?

Or, were we just at home? Doing Absolutely Nothing?

Your guess is as good as mine.

I do remember a brief trip to the beach with morning bagels. It was actually a little too chilly already to stay very long. It was absolutely gorgey, though the breeze made it cold, even with a jacket or hoodie.

Even Mr. Gull Looks cold.
Though not too cold to eye
The Blisschick's sesame seed bagel, mind you.

A post bagel gaze at the Lake.

Me, smiling at both the
Sunshine and the thought of a
Very Cute Rabbit at home.

I also recall reading some fiction, which made me dream of good Pinot Noir. In fact, if anyone has a favorite Pinot Noir, please feel free to recommend. Zoe and I are up for suggestions. We might even share with the Blisschick.

Also, Zoe and I got some things ready to send in the mail.

What? What are we sending?

HALLOWBUNNIES!!!! BOO!!

One HallowBunny will soon be on her way to the City of Brotherly Love. And, one will soon be jetting off to Australia. MusicMiles suggested packing some snacks for that Rabbit's long ride.

Miss Zoe concurred: "We all know that Rabbits do like a little something," She quipped.

A point well taken.

And, what of the Rabbit's weekend?

I guess that sums it up. Carrot toy is appealing due to the lack of Willow Balls. Poor Miss Zoe is in a bit of a toy dry spell right now. It is so very sad.

How about you? What fun did you have? Was your weekend an Action Packed Adventure? Or, did it involve a lot of Sitting In Chairs?

Either way, we hope it was delightful.

Happy Monday.

Even The Rabbit hopes it's nice for you.

A Kite Meditation

Here in Erie, PA, today is a holiday.

Labor Day, that is.

"But, what does that mean to me?" asked Zoe the Rabbit. "Rabbits don't work."

"Well," I responded, scratching her fuzzy little nose, "what do Rabbits do that you would like to talk about, then?"

"Hmmmm...." Miss Zoe thought to herself.

After a few minutes, she said, "Rabbit's Relax. I would like this to be a Relaxing sort of day."

And, really, being as most all of us have the day off from work due to the holiday that is Labor Day, it is more of a Relaxing Day.

In honor of Zoe's Relaxing Day, then, we would like to share a video. I know. It's another uncustomary video.

First, Cinematic Saturday,and now this???

Bear with us. I think you'll like it.

Over this weekend, the Blisschick and I spent some time at Presque Isle State Park. And one of the things we enjoyed most was visiting the beach Erieites call "the Kite Beach."

Behold! The Kite Beach:

A good way to Relax, don't you think?

Spend some time today relaxing like a rabbit. You'll be glad you did.

Flip Friday

It's been a wonderful week. It began with a holiday, and it contained, for me, a couple of extra days of vacation. YIPEE!

Due to the extra days of vacation, I got quite a lot more rabbit time in my week, which is always delightful. Because it was rather warm, Zoe was a little more melty than usual and was more interested than usual in sitting for a few portraits.

She wanted me to show the following pictures especially. She very much enjoys the sepia tone effect on our iPhoto, which she thinks, makes her look as though she is a Rabbit of the 1800's.

You know, like a Wild West Wabbit:

Notice how she doesn't smile for the
photos-- just like in the Olden Days.

She's a Tough Bunny. You watch your mouth, y'hear?

"What did you just say?
Shall we duel at High Noon? Pistols? Or, Carrots?"

OK, then. Back away slowly and you won't get hurt.

But, don't hold me to that.

On to this week's videos.

First, we have a special video starring Emily Dickinson-- a.k.a. Miss Emmie-- as she tries desperately to follow in the bunny's tiny footprints and eat some yard food:

In the meantime, we also had a car this week-- my parents' mini van while they are out of town-- which was perfect for going to the garden center, running a few errands, and of course, hitting the beach.

For those of you who don't know it, Erie is Pennsylvania's port city, located right on Lake Erie, and privy to some pretty awesome beaches. The water was still a little cold for swimming, but we sat in the sand and soaked in some sun.

In this video, you can see the Tom Ridge Environmental Center (TREC), which is the complex with the observation tower at the beginning of the video. Next, you see the roller coaster that spans the road at Waldameer Park. Next, we drive past local summer hot spot, Sara's Diner. And finally, we enter Presque Isle State Park:

Have a great Weekend!!
